This Year 7 theme, “Knowledge & Knowing,” delves into the profound concept of knowledge, exploring its acquisition, sources, and implications. Learners investigate the diverse pathways to knowledge, whether through personal experiences, teachings, or innate capacities, recognizing the influence of personal beliefs and experiences in shaping understanding. Emphasising Allah as the ultimate source of knowledge, learners explore the intrinsic connection between human intellect, reason, and conscious thought, urging them to engage in purposeful reflection and understanding of Divine revelation. The theme underscores the obligation of seeking knowledge in Islam, guiding learners towards righteous deeds and a deeper relationship with Allah through understanding His Names and Attributes. The theme also delves into the holistic nature of knowledge, encompassing both spiritual and physical dimensions. Through this exploration, learners are encouraged to cultivate high aspirations  and develop etiquettes of seeking knowledge, developing skills that will aid them in their life-long journey of acquiring knowledge.
